OUR STORY
Hello, my name is Hanka Fišerová and I am a music teacher at the Music School in Prague. And I lead the Christian nationwide Effatha choir.
Last year I spent a month in western Kenya, in the Bondo area near Lake Victoria, where I taught music, playing on the keyboard and led the church choir. This was possible thanks to the cooperation with the local pastor, Paul, who has at heart both practical help to the needy and above all, the spiritual growth of the local community, which he leads to discipleship.
He asked me the question of how we could continue to work together in the future. There was an idea to do a summer Effatha camp in Kenya as we do for children and youth every year in Litomyšl. Not just with music but to use all artistic means to draw the children to Christ so they can grow and be strong in their faith.
